Mark has been in Beijing for a month. He is checking out from his apartment, but the owner tries to scam him by charging a triple rent. Mark knows nothing about China. Mark is under pressure and calls his Lingolet interpreter. The Chinese interpreter calms the situation down and explains in Chinese to the landlord that he can’t scam Mark. Mark gets his deposit and walks away.
